The performance of the college at the university Youth Festival has always been on the forefront. Singers of the college were the runners up at the state level too.
College students took part in more than 21 events at youth festival pocketed 3 individual prizes. At the inter-college and zonal levels, our college was the topper during the year 2004-05 among the single faculty colleges of the city by grabbing 14 prizes.
DRAMATICS:
Participated in the events of skill, Mime, Mono-acting and Mimicry at Gujarat University youth festivals, sep1 2008. Mime was selected among the best three for inter-zonal competition.
Participate in one-act play competition organized by I.N.T and Gujarat Samachar Trust performing one-act play ‘Kurkure’ written and directed by college aluminis Shri Chirag Tripathi.
Participated in one-act play competition ‘Vina-veli’ organized by H.K. Arts College performing the same play.
The same play got an invitation performance show by Rang-mandal.
DEBATES AND ELOCUTIONS:
1. Participated in debate, group discussion and quiz competition at Gujarat University Youth Festivals, Sep1.2008.
2. Inter-class college elocution was held on 12th Jan. 2009 (Birthday of Swami Vivekananda), in which more than 25 students of the college participated.
3. Sheth Hridas Acharatlal Elocution competition for institutions of GLS was organized on 20th Jan. 2009. The function was presided over by Shri Devang Nanavati, Hon. Secretary, GLS and Shri Mukesh Patel, an eminent tax consultant being chief guest 2 participates from 12 GLS institutions participated in the same.
4. Miss Arbuda Dave got the first prize of the best speaker at Hindi elocution competition by C.U. Shah Arts College.
