H.A College of Commerce is primarily a college that serves its purpose: the purpose of imparting sound and quality higher education to its students. Where most colleges would understand “higher education” as mere furthering of degrees, at H.A. College, we understand it as better and improved furthering of education. Established in 1956, this college has an entire history of achievements and award which this paper will illustrate in due course. As a member, of the Gujarat Law Society. Which was founded in 1927, this college is one of its many prominent institutions, others of which are schools, colleges and centers for professional courses in the globally focal fields of Management and Information Technology.

H.A College of Commerce is affiliated to the Gujarat University, which is the largest university in the state. And accredited with B++ by NAAC.

Since its inception, H.A. College of Commerce has been adjudged, both, by the masses as well as critical authorities, as a top class college in Gujarat. As proof We have, among other awards, the award for the Best College of the year in 1983, conferred by Gujarat State. The college was placed on the 2nd position all over  Gujarat in the survey conducted by the leading daily the ‘Divya Bhaskar’ in 2006. We are proud to say that H.A. College of Commerce was ranked on the 19th Position all over India in the survey conducted by the leading magazine “India Today” in 2006. The National assessment Accreditation Council conferred the four star status to us in 2001.

H.A. College of Commerce was the first Commerce College in Gujarat to be accredited with 4 Star by NAAC. We now look forward to center the status from NAAC under the Re-Accreditation process.
